Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 12 July 2026
(This version replaces the previous Privacy Policy dated March 2026.)
1. Who We Are
Solere Consulting (“Solere Consulting,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a digital marketing consultancy operated by Ramil Espere Jr., based in the Philippines, providing SEO, Google Ads, website, and related marketing services to clients including those based in Australia and other countries. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you visit solereconsulting.com (the “Site”) or interact with us through it.
We process personal data in accordance with the Philippines’ Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, as issued by the National Privacy Commission (NPC). Because many of our visitors and clients are based in Australia, we also aim to handle personal information consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), even where those obligations may not directly apply to us as a Philippine-based sole proprietorship. This policy is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice.
2. Information We Collect
a. Information You Provide to Us
When you use the enquiry form on our Contact page, we may collect:
- First name
- Email address
- Mobile number (optional)
- Business name
- Website URL (optional)
- Your area of interest (e.g. consulting, ongoing retainer support, or “not sure what I need”)
- Your message and enquiry details
- How you heard about Solere Consulting (optional, e.g. referral, search engine, LinkedIn, social media, or an AI chat tool)
All of this information is provided voluntarily. Required fields are marked on the form; optional fields are clearly indicated.
b. Automatically Collected Data
We use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors use our Site. This may include:
- Pages visited and time spent on the Site
- General location (country or city level, derived from IP address)
- Device, browser, and operating system type
- Referral source (e.g. how you arrived at our Site)
This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information — see Section 7 (Cookies) below.
c. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect payment details, government-issued IDs, or other sensitive personal information through this Site.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiries and follow up on service requests
- Prepare quotes, proposals, or scopes of work
- Improve our website content, structure, and user experience
- Understand how visitors interact with our Site through analytics
- Meet legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
4. Legal Basis and Privacy Principles
When you voluntarily submit personal information — for example, through our contact form — we process it based on your consent and for the legitimate purpose of responding to your enquiry or delivering the service you’ve requested. We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for these purposes, and we handle it fairly, transparently, and securely, consistent with the privacy principles recognised under the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with trusted service providers who help us operate this Site and our business, such as:
- Web hosting and website management providers
- Google (Analytics, Search Console, Workspace)
- Email and communication tools used to respond to enquiries
These providers only access the information necessary to perform their function and are expected to handle it securely. We may also disclose information when required by law, a valid legal process, or a lawful request from a government or regulatory authority.
6. International Data Transfers
Because we operate from the Philippines and work with clients internationally, including in Australia, personal information may be stored or processed on servers located outside the Philippines (for example, through Google’s infrastructure). Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to receive an appropriate level of protection, consistent with the Data Privacy Act’s requirements for cross-border data transfers.
7. Cookies
Our Site uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — primarily through Google Analytics, to help us understand Site traffic and usage patterns. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; note that some parts of the Site may not function as intended if cookies are disabled. We do not currently use cookies for third-party advertising or retargeting on this Site.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, deliver any agreed services, comply with legal or tax obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our rights. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete, dispose of, or anonymise it.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable organisational, physical, and technical measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, loss, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which can include the right to:
- Be informed about how your data is collected and used
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request erasure or blocking of your data in certain circumstances
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant regulator — the National Privacy Commission in the Philippines, or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you are located in Australia
These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions and exceptions. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 12 of this Part.
11. Children’s Privacy
Our Site and services are intended for business owners and professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
12. Third-Party Links
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or platforms (for example, our Facebook page). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, Site features, or applicable legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
